Palma Old Town and the Cathedral

A walking tour inside the Cathedral of Mallorca.

**Come alone, as a couple or with friends BOOK NOW, if we don’t reach the minimum group of 5 people we’ll advise you**

You will immerse yourself in the history, architecture, mysteries and curiosities of Palma and one of the most stunning buildings: the Cathedral of Mallorca

The walking tour lasts approximately 2 hour and 30 minutes.

Palma de Mallorca, during the middle and modern age known as Ciutat de Mallorques, was one of the most important cities of all the Mediterranean Sea. During this walking tour we will explain Palma throughout its history, architecture, legends and curiosities, since the Prehistory times up today. With this guided tour you will contemplate the main buildings for instance the Royal Palace of Almudaina, the Cityhall and of course, the most stunning building of the island: the Cathedral of Mallorca.

The Cathedral or also called “la Seu” is one of the most emblematic and important buildings around the Balearic Archipelago. The temple is located in a exceptional place of the old town, in front of the old walls which date from the Middle Age.

During the walk we will explore the different rooms and spaces of that temple. We help us by electronic devices to explain and show the architectonical evolution from its beginnings at the 13th Century until its fulfillment at the 17th Century. We will point up restorations and refurbishments of the 20th Century: Gaudí and Miquel Barceló as well.
